About the event
Mandala” translates to “circle” in Sanskrit, which in turn, resembles the universe. The mandala also signifies the harmony and unification between your body, mind, and soul
In yoga, the mandala is a visual tool used during meditation to hone focus and establish a sacred and enlightened place. A mandala-style yoga flow draws upon this wholeness and shape to create a dynamic sequence that has you moving around your mat in a circular pattern, much like the shape of a mandala itself
Colour your own Mandala session follows practice - Colouring mandalas is a form of art therapy meant to relieve stress and increase focus while exercising the brain and expressing creativity. If you don’t finish it, you can take it home and finish there.
To continue that feeling of stress relief, I offer a mindful breath meditation.
Ending our workshop as always with home made cake, hot drink and chat.
